LISD plans to lower tax rate slightly, will dip into savings

The Lampasas Independent School District is expecting a 3.9% increase in general fund expenditures for the 2024-2025 fiscal year.
The district will host a public hearing Aug. 26 on its upcoming FY budget and tax rate. LISD has proposed a levy of $1.0152 per $100 in property valuation, a decrease of $0.0023 from a year ago.
