UPDATE: On Friday morning, the LCSO notified the Dispatch Record that 15-year-old Zaymee Holstein had been located and returned home. The sheriff's office thanks the community for its assistance.
The Lampasas County Sheriff’s Office is looking for help to locate 15-year-old Zaymee Holstein.
Holstein’s parents reported to the LCSO on May 12 that the teenager had run away from her home in Lampasas County. Holstein was last seen at approximately 9:30 p.m. on May 6.
“Zaymee is prescribed medication, and her health and well-being depend on its regular administration,” the LCSO said in a statement.
The LCSO is working with Holstein’s parents to ensure a safe return for the teenager. Those with any information about Holstein’s whereabouts are asked to please contact the LCSO at 512-556-8255.
The LCSO says community engagement is essential to ensuring a safe community for all. The department encourages residents to notify local law enforcement of children who run away from home, or those in danger.
