Lampasas school board members hold budget workshop

Lampasas ISD is planning for a $2.4 million budget deficit in the 2025-2026 fiscal year. School board members learned more about the proposed budget in a workshop session Monday.
The budget lists $46.29 million in proposed expenses, a 4.81% increase from the current fiscal year. Chief Financial Officer Shane Jones told trustees the district is working hard to budget conservatively.
