KWSC to change up chemicals to rid water of color, odor

    The Kempner Water Supply Corp. issued two lengthy statements Tuesday regarding the water supplier’s efforts to clean the system and allay fears over bacterial contamination.

    KWSC customers remain under a boil water notice that was issued last week after the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality found chlorine residuals below the state-mandated 0.5 milligrams per liter.
