Kempner council passes noise ordinance that includes nighttime firearms restrictions

    The Kempner City Council approved changes to the city’s noise ordinance in its April 22 regular meeting. The noise ordinance now includes the discharge of firearms.

    Also during the session last week, council members issued a resolution opposing the Lampasas Central Appraisal District’s 2025 budget amendment and OK’d the creation of a Central Texas Regional 911 Emergency Communications District.
