Kempner City Council approves contract for street projects

    Kempner City Council members awarded a contract for street projects within the city, funded by a Texas Community Development Block Grant, to JH Contracting LLC. Action came Jan. 14 in the first regular meeting of the year.

    Also, council members discussed using a decommissioned police vehicle for full-time officers conducting off-duty work.
