Former county commissioner David Rae Smith died on Dec. 13, 2021, at the age of 88. He had been diagnosed with inclusion body myositis in 2011, and outlived his initial prognosis by quite a few years.
Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Dec. 18 at First Baptist Church in Lometa, with the funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas has charge of arrangements....
