Flood damage minimal here compared to nearby counties

    While Central Texas mourns severe loss of life and property damage due to Independence Day weekend flooding, residents of Lampasas County can breathe a small sigh of relief after minimal damage and flood effects were seen here.

    Flooding affected Lampasas County starting Saturday morning and continued through Monday, officials said.
