Jeff Smith will take similar post in Decatur
Lampasas Fire Chief Jeff Smith confirmed Friday he has issued his resignation to take a position with the Decatur Fire Department.
His last day will be Jan. 19.
Smith described the change in position as positive for his career and his family.
