Demolition of pocket park makes room for county’s new storage building
An empty space can be seen behind the Lampasas County Office Buildings, the former site of the pocket park. A future county-owned storage building will soon fill the space. ERICK MITCHELL | DISPATCH RECORD
The pocket park behind the Lampasas County Office Buildings has been torn down to make room for a new county storage facility.
Commissioners OK’d the demolition of the pocket park during Monday’s Lampasas County Commissioners Court meeting. The storage facility will house unused furniture and hold documents from various county offices that must be retained permanently.
