Lampasas County will have a new transit service in 2026.
During Monday’s Lampasas County Commissioners Court meeting, members approved a resolution to dissolve affiliation with the Hill Country Transit District, also known as the HOP, and to join the Central Texas Rural Transit District.
“This is a big deal,” County Judge Randy Hoyer said about the decision to switch services.
