Commissioners Court OKs grants for sheriff’s office, indigent defense

    The Lampasas County Commissioners Court approved two grant applications for body armor and fencing around the jail for the sheriff’s department in Monday’s regular meeting.

    Also, commissioners OK’d a new indigent defense coordinator/ court coordinator position that could be partially funded through grant opportunities.
