The report from the Jan. 10 Lampasas Cattle Auction follows.
Cattle and calves: Total cattle 530, compared to 485 last sale and 804 at this time last year.
Compared to last sale, feeder steers and heifers were steady. Slaughter cows were $2-$4 higher, and slaughter bulls were steady. Feeder cattle accounted for 80%. Slaughter cows and bulls accounted for 20%.
