JUNETEENTH CELEBRATION
The former Lampasas Colored School at 514 College St. will be the site for a Juneteenth Celebration on June 19 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Community members should bring a favorite dish to share for the potluck meal.
The 1865 Emancipation Proclamation will be read, and stories will be offered of local Black families who have been part of Lampasas’ history.
