Authorities cite smoke on highway as cause of Monday-morning wreck

One person was injured in a highway collision Monday that authorities said was caused by thick smoke.

Lampasas Police Department emergency call logs reported a major accident occurred on U.S. Highway 281 17 miles north of Lampasas at 11:45 a.m. Monday.
