The Lampasas County Livestock Association ag barn will offer 36 pens to house animal projects for students who may not otherwise have space to raise a pig, sheep or goats. The space is available to any student in the county for $25 per month. ERICK MITCHELL | DISPATCH RECORD
The Lampasas County Livestock Association is placing the finishing touches on its newly constructed ag barn next to the youth livestock center at the intersection of U.S. Highways 183 and 281.
The facility will serve students who don’t have a place at their home to care for show animals. LCLA President Jeff Rutland said the ag barn will be completed in the coming days.
