Abandoned house burns; officials still investigating the incident

An abandoned house on Main Street burned to the ground Friday evening, and officials said the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Lampasas Fire Department officials said a single-story home in the 1700 block of South Main Street burned down Friday at about 8 p.m. It’s the second time the home has caught fire in the last few years, Lampasas Fire Marshal J.P. Harris said.
