The family of W. Lee Vann was recognized at the Capitol in Austin for Vann’s devotion to his family, his work ethic, and his appreciation and support for agriculture. W. Lee Vann was honored posthumously on Nov. 21, 2022 – Texas Agriculture Memorial Day – at the Texas Capitol.
One of 17 honored, Vann was remembered for his lifetime of service to agriculture. Throughout the years, he owned and operated Vann Livestock Company where he bought and sold cattle, hogs, sheep, goats, horses and farm equipment.
