Lampasas was well represented at the UIL State Academic meet, held in Austin May 13-15.
UIL Academics Coordinator/Speech and Debate coach Judith McGhee said several students came home with medals from the competition.
Juliet Cardona placed sixth in copy editing; Cale Wheeler took fifth place in Lincoln-Douglas debate; and Kenzie Stone earned sixth in prose interpretation.
