Road conditions were safe enough to send Lampasas ISD students to school on Tuesday. In other parts of Central Texas, however, classes were canceled due to a sleet-wintry mix or snow – whatever we want to call it.
As an eighth-grade student 13 years ago, my friends and I were more than ready to make the most of any snow dusting, a rare experience in my native San Antonio.
