Lometa ISD will honor military veterans on Nov. 8 in a ceremony at the school’s gymnasium. The program will begin at 9:30 a.m. and will offer a variety of tributes to servicemen and women.
Cynthia Kirby will direct the Lometa elementary choir during the event.
Joe Birchman of Lometa is slated to be the keynote speaker and will follow a posting of the colors by Lometa secondary students.
