    Lometa UIL Academics saw numerous students qualifying for different contests at the state meet in 2025.

    That list includes recent graduate Cora Groves, who finished her UIL career by competing in the Headline Writing competition.

    Despite not earning a medal, Groves’ qualifying for the state meet was an achievement in itself.
