Lampasas High School automotive students Ryan Dane, Shawn Roberts and Sean Smith will advance to the Skills USA Texas state competition in April for their work on a Scorpion go-kart.
At the Skills USA Texas District 10 meet on Feb. 7 at Texas State Technical College in Hutto, the trio scored a 192 out of 200 for their go-kart build to qualify for the state meet.
