Kempner VFD to host annual barbecue fundraiser

    The Kempner Volunteer Fire Department will hold its 43rd annual barbecue and auction fundraiser on April 29. A barbecue meal will be served at 1 p.m., and a live auction will begin at 3 p.m. Food for the event will range from $10 to $15.
