From backscratchers to bowls and walking canes to candle holders, Kempner resident Gene Isenhour has a way of working with wood.
Isenhour developed a wood art hobby in 2016 and is yet to look back. This year alone, he has handcrafted more than 125 bowls, with each piece having a story of its own.
