Friends of the Night Sky seeks to keep stars big and bright

    Lampasas County Friends of the Night Sky will host its second annual “The Stars at Night” viewing on March 1. The event will take place at the old middle school campus on Western and North Avenue.

    Group volunteer Mike Watson said the mission of Lampasas County Friends of the Night Sky is simple: dark sky preservation.
