The Oran Milo Roberts Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas met May 4 at the Hostess House.
Vice President Jan Vann introduced Lampasas Middle School seventhgrade Texas history teacher, James Best. He has taught in Lampasas ISD for 25 years and for a total of 45 years overall. Best assisted in presenting the winners of the DRT seventh-grade Essay Contest.
