In an article titled “Son accused in Kempner homicide” in the July 18 edition of the Dispatch Record, it was incorrectly stated that Kempner Police Department responded to a call at 9:31 a.m. on Friday, July 14.
The call was received at that time by Lampasas County Sheriff’s Department deputies, who responded about 22 minutes later. LCSO responded to both calls at the residence that day.
