      Charles Robert Gray, 79, of Lampasas died May 3, 2008. Funeral services were May 8 at Heritage Funeral Home in Harker Heights with the Rev. Maggie McKinley officiating. Burial was at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.

      Mona "Mimmie" Lorene Wallace Poole, 98, of Louisville, Ky., died May 2, 2008, at Treyton Oaks Tower. A private graveside service will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas at a later date. Mrs. Poole was born in Marble Falls to Oscar Lee and Ada Lee Roper Wallace.

Church services to be broadcast
      New Covenant Church will offer a video-streamed service of healing today, beginning at 6 p.m. Church doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Services will be simulcast from Lakeland, Fla., where a ministry of healing and manifestations of the Holy Spirit's power have been evidenced, said a church spokesman.
