Mr. Eubanks
      Weldon Newton Eubanks died Feb. 18, 2010, at the age of 80. He was buried in St. Augustine. He was born June 11, 1929, in Rumley, the son of L.D. and Jewel Hart Eubanks. Mr. Eubanks lived in Lampasas until he was 18, graduating from Lampasas High School where he was active in all sports and captain of the Badger football team during his senior year.

Mr. Foster
      Funeral services for Leemon L. Foster, 68, of Adamsville are March 13, 2010, at 10 a.m. at Adamsville Baptist Church with Marcus Foster officiating. Burial will follow at Putnam Cemetery near Baird. Visitation is March 12 from 6-8 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas. Mr. Foster died March 9 at his residence.

Mr. Hale
      James L. Hale of Lampasas died March 7, 2010, in Temple, at age 88. Graveside services with military honors by the U.S. Army will be March 12 at 11 a.m. at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen. Mr. Hale was born March 23, 1921, in Little, Okla., to Charles and Rose Miller Hale. He was married to Mary Hale in Houston.

Mr. Kirk
      Stacy Allen Kirk of Burnet County died March 6, 2010, as a result of injuries sustained in an auto accident on U.S. Highway 281 South. He was 38. Funeral services were March 11 at First Street Church of Christ in Lampasas with Minister Rocky Moncus officiating. Burial was at Dobyville Cemetery in Burnet County.

Mr. Meeks
      Funeral services for Jimmy Wayne Meeks, 70, of Lometa were March 10, 2010, at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas with his nephew, Terry Austin, officiating. Burial was at Long Cove Cemetery near Lometa. Mr. Meeks died March 6 in an auto accident on U.S. Highway 281 in Burnet County. He was born Aug. 2, 1939, in Hedley, Okla., the son of Roy and Euna Holland Meeks.

Mr. Phillips
      Charles Edward “Ed” Phillips, 92, died Feb. 23, 2010. A memorial service will be held at a later date for family and friends in Lampasas. He was buried Feb. 26 at Restland Cemetery in Dallas. Mr. Phillips was born April 24, 1917, in Terrell.

Mrs. Murphy
      Shirley Murphy of Pflugerville died Feb. 23, 2010, in Round Rock. She was the daughter of Virgil and Freda Selph. Funeral services were Feb. 27 at Briggs-Gamel Lampasas Funerals & Cremations. Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas.
